Job summary

Greenway Equipment in Grady, Alabama seeks a Service Technician to independently diagnose, service, and repair customer and dealer-owned agricultural and outdoor power equipment. You will document work, stay current with John Deere technology, and mentor apprentices within a safety-conscious team.

Qualifications

Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Experience with tools and following Technical Manual procedures.
Ability to diagnose technical issues.
Experience with Service Advisor or equivalent diagnostic tools.
Willingness to work extended hours and weekends.
Positive attitude and customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

Performs diagnostics and repairs on John Deere equipment.
Performs repairs in the field as required.
Develops an understanding of technology offerings.
Accounts for billable time and documents diagnostics and repairs.
Mentors Service Technician Apprentices and junior technicians.
Maintains vehicles, inventory, tools and equipment.
