Job summary

Lithia & Driveway in Oxnard, CA is seeking a Service Technician Class B to perform vehicle repairs to Lithia and manufacturer standards. You will diagnose issues, complete work orders, road-test vehicles, and maintain a clean, safe workspace.

Candidates should have 3–5 years automotive experience, ASE or manufacturer training, and a valid driver's license. This full-time, on-site role offers flat-rate pay from $30 to $55 per hour, plus benefits and opportunities for certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ASE certifications and/or manufacturer training encouraged.
• 3–5 years of automotive technician experience preferred.
• Ability to follow Lithia and manufacturer standards.

Responsibilities

• Acquire and maintain manufacturer and ASE certifications via training.
• Communicate with dealership personnel to satisfy customer needs.

• Pay: $30-$55 per flat rate hour DOE
• Schedule: Full Time

Responsibilities

• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with Lithia and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose cause of malfunction.
• Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements.
• Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.
• Accurately record time spent on repairs utilizing company time clocking procedures.
• Document work performed on repair order and document test procedures/results.
• Return special tools to proper place.
• Use shop supplies and materials in a practical and economical manner.
• Maintain an organized and clean workspace, completing a stall cleaning every day.
• Ensure that customer's vehicles are returned to them as clean as they were prior to being serviced.
• Complete all required training.
• Acquire and maintain manufacturer and ASE certifications by completing the necessary and required training.
• Participate in and utilize technical training as assigned by management.
• Review the technical bulletins and other publications as assigned by management.
• Constructively communicate with other dealership personnel as required to satisfy customer needs.
• Report to management any situation or condition that jeopardizes the safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership, its personnel, or customers.

Total Rewards

This is a flat rate position that is also eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives as part of total compensation, which includes Production Productivity.

The average monthly pay range for this position is $30-$55 Flat Rate Hours depending on experience.

Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and physical location. Final compensation will be established through the interview process in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.
