Lithia & Driveway in Honolulu is seeking a Ford Master Technician with 5+ years of service experience to perform repairs to factory standards. You will diagnose issues, complete work safely, and road-test vehicles to ensure quality. Maintain hand tools, document procedures, and pursue ASE and manufacturer certifications.

Qualifications

• Must be a certified Ford Master Technician.
• Minimum 5 years of Service Technician experience.
• 5+ years automotive knowledge.
• Proficient in lube and maintenance services.
• Able to diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy.
• Diagnose cause of malfunction.
• Complete work per safety requirements.
• Road-test vehicles to verify repair quality.
• Record time spent on repairs using time clocking procedures.
• Document work on repair order and test results.
• Maintain inventory of common tools used in repairs.
• Acquire and maintain manufacturer and ASE certifications.
• Participate in and utilize technical training as assigned.
• Review technical bulletins as assigned.
• Communicate with dealership personnel to satisfy customer needs.
• Report safety or integrity concerns to management.

What You'll Do

• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with Lithia and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose cause of malfunction.
• Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements.
• Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.
• Accurately record time spent on repairs utilizing company time clocking procedures.
• Document work performed on repair order and document test procedures/results.
• Responsible for providing and maintaining an inventory of normal mechanics tools to include screwdrivers, wrenches, socket wrenches, pliers, hammers, chisels and punches, and other tools needed to perform the work for which the technician is trained and not normally inventoried by the service department as "special tools".
• Acquire and maintain manufacturer and ASE certifications by completing the necessary and required training.
• Participate in and utilize technical training as assigned by management.
• Review the technical bulletins and other publications as assigned by management.
• Constructively communicate with other dealership personnel as required to satisfy customer needs.
• Report to management any situation or condition that jeopardizes the safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership, its personnel, or customers.

Total Rewards

This is a performance driven position, eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives as part of total compensation, which includes Bonuses based on Production Productivity.

The average pay range for this position is $35.00-$60.00 per flat rate hour.

Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and physical location. Final compensation will be established through the interview process in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.
