Job summary

Stream-Flo Group is seeking a field service technician to assemble, test and service equipment in offshore and onshore oilfield environments. The role requires hands-on maintenance, accurate reporting, and strong customer communication in a dynamic, travel-heavy setting.

Ideal candidates have field experience, a valid driver's license, and a willingness to travel on a 3 weeks on/3 weeks off rotation. Competitive compensation and benefits accompany growth within a privately held company.

Qualifications

• 5 years of field experience in oil and gas preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving in the field.
• Willingness to travel and support 24/7 on-call requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, disassemble and test equipment; troubleshoot and repair on-site.
• Prepare field service tickets, reports and administrative forms.
• Maintain spare parts inventory for service and rental tools.
• Promote field service sales and maintain customer relationships.
• Complete training on new processes and ensure safety compliance.
• Lead safety practices and conduct job safety analyses.
• Travel on rotation to support company and customer needs.

Key position functions include:

• Assemble, disassemble, test equipment in performing troubleshooting and repair of equipment
• Prepare accurate field service tickets / job reports and other administrative forms as required
• Maintain inventory levels of spare parts for service and rental tools
• Promote and perform any field service oriented sales and maintain a confident customer relationship for the company
• Must be receptive to and able to comprehend training received on new related processes
• Conduct job safety analysis and work as a safely leader in every aspect while performing duties
• May assist in developing job action planning with customer on location
• Install and/or remove equipment in accordance with applicable technical procedures
• Must be available on 24-hour call basis to respond to customer needs
• Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job
• Comply with all applicable quality, health, safety and environmental regulations

Preferred candidate will possess a combination of the following:

• Excellent operational and maintenance knowledge of Wellhead equipment.
• 5 years of relevant field experience
• NSTC Training Certificate
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
• Mechanical aptitude
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• This is a rotation position of 3 weeks on and 3 weeks off, must be available to travel to support company and customer needs as required.
