Job summary

Stream-Flo Industries in Anchorage, AK seeks a Field Service Technician to assemble, disassemble and test wellhead equipment, perform troubleshooting and repairs onsite for global customers.

You will travel to customer sites on a 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off rotation, provide accurate field service reports, ensure safety, quality and regulatory compliance, and maintain spare parts inventories while developing strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of field service experience.
• NSTC Training Certificate required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.
• Excellent mechanical knowledge of wellhead equipment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, disassemble and test wellhead equipment.
• Prepare field service tickets and reports.
• Maintain inventory levels of spare parts.
• Support field service oriented sales and customer relationships.
• Receive training on new processes.
• Lead safety analyses and promote safe work practices.
• Install/remove equipment per procedures.
• Available on a 24-hour call basis.
• Collaborate on job action planning with customers.
• Comply with health, safety and environmental regulations.

Key Position Functions Include

• Assemble, disassemble, test equipment in performing troubleshooting and repair of equipment
• Prepare accurate field service tickets / job reports and other administrative forms as required
• Maintain inventory levels of spare parts for service and rental tools
• Promote and perform any field service oriented sales and maintain a confident customer relationship for the company
• Must be receptive to and able to comprehend training received on new related processes
• Conduct job safety analysis and work as a safely leader in every aspect while performing duties
• May assist in developing job action planning with customer on location
• Install and/or remove equipment in accordance with applicable technical procedures
• Must be available on 24-hour call basis to respond to customer needs
• Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job
• Comply with all applicable quality, health, safety and environmental regulations

Preferred Candidate Will Possess a Combination Of The Following

• Excellent operational and maintenance knowledge of Wellhead equipment.
• 5 years of relevant field experience
• NSTC Training Certificate
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Valid driver''s license and good driving record
• Mechanical aptitude
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• This is a rotation position of 3 weeks on and 3 weeks off, must be available to travel to support company and customer needs as required.
