Job summary

Alfons Haar Inc in Springboro, OH, seeks a Field Engineer to install, demonstrate, and troubleshoot AHI presses with minimal supervision. The role requires up to 50% travel, domestically and internationally, to support customers across North America and beyond.

You will report on machine conditions, assist other field engineers, and ensure complete, organized service records. A two-year technical degree or equivalent experience, plus strong mechanical skills with hydraulic and pneumatic systems,

Qualifications

• Two-year technical school degree in Engineering principles or equivalent.
• High mechanical aptitude with knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic system controls and functions.
• Experience with electromechanical machine operations and controls.
• Ability to read blueprints/electrical schematics.
• Ability to navigate a computer system/software/file management.
• Must be able to lift 60 pounds without aid.
• Ability to climb ladders and tolerate heights.
• 3 years of relevant experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Install, set-up, troubleshoot, and service AHI presses.
• Troubleshoot and repair machine-related problems.
• Accurately report technical conditions and information.
• Work with minimal supervision.
• Interface with customers in a complete and organized manner.
• Submit required daily AHI reports in a complete and organized manner.
• Assist other Field Engineers as directed.

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for installing, demonstrating, and troubleshooting AHI presses with minimal assistance. This position requires up to 50% travel, domestic & international.

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

• High degree of mechanical aptitude, with knowledge of hydraulic & pneumatic system controls and functions.
• Experience with electromechanical machine operations and controls.
• Ability to read blueprints/electrical schematics.
• Ability to navigate a computer system/software/file management.
• Must be able to lift 60 pounds without aid.
• Ability to climb ladders and tolerate heights.
• 3 years of relevant experience desired - lesser experience will be considered.
