Responsibilities

Provide machine start-up support and installation inspections.
Offer installation support to customers and integrators in machine operation, mechanical debugging, and electrical troubleshooting.
Provide onsite machine-level training covering theory of operation and maintenance.
Document service and installation actions through forms, reports, logs, and records.
Follow procedures for troubleshooting and maintaining mechanical and electrical systems.
Provide technical phone support and follow through until issues are resolved.
Coordinate problem resolution with engineering, operations, customer service, and other personnel.
Review service handbooks and bulletins for customer support.
Assist with engineering test plans for R&D projects.
Enter and update CRM cases.
Support assembly as needed.

Requirements

Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; and one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Basic knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and electricity
Ability to travel to customer site locations to evaluate and diagnose equipment failures
Ability to handle planned and unplanned travel; approximately 50% travel may be expected
Ability to understand blueprints, sketches, schematics, drawings, part lists, and specifications
