Responsibilities

  • Provide machine start-up support and installation inspections.
  • Offer installation support to customers and integrators in machine operation, mechanical debugging, and electrical troubleshooting.
  • Provide onsite machine-level training covering theory of operation and maintenance.
  • Document service and installation actions through forms, reports, logs, and records.
  • Follow procedures for troubleshooting and maintaining mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Provide technical phone support and follow through until issues are resolved.
  • Coordinate problem resolution with engineering, operations, customer service, and other personnel.
  • Review service handbooks and bulletins for customer support.
  • Assist with engineering test plans for R&D projects.
  • Enter and update CRM cases.
  • Support assembly as needed.

Requirements
  • Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; and one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Basic knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and electricity
  • Ability to travel to customer site locations to evaluate and diagnose equipment failures
  • Ability to handle planned and unplanned travel; approximately 50% travel may be expected
  • Ability to understand blueprints, sketches, schematics, drawings, part lists, and specifications
