Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced technician to maintain automated pedestrian doors across customer sites in the United States. The role focuses on planned maintenance, break‑fix repairs, and upgrades of electro‑mechanical door systems, with emphasis on safety and customer service.

You will diagnose electrical circuits, work with aluminum framing and glazing, operate power tools, and participate in AAADM training and on‑call rotations after certification.

Qualifications

• Experience repairing electro‑mechanical devices.
• Knowledge of basic electrical circuits and low‑voltage wiring.
• Experience with glazing, storefronts, aluminum frames, and hardware (preferred).

• Operate power tools and perform physically demanding tasks (lifting up to 100 lbs., climbing ladders, kneeling).
• Participate in on‑call rotations after certification and training.

Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude with experience in repairing electro‑mechanical devices.
• Knowledge of basic electrical circuits and low‑voltage (120 v) wiring (access control systems a plus).
• Experience in glazing, storefronts, aluminum frames, and hardware (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• High commitment to safety, customer satisfaction, and teamwork.
• Ability to lift, bend, and use power tools effectively.
