Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform planned maintenance, break-fix repair, and upgrades of automated pedestrian doors at customer locations. You will diagnose electro-mechanical devices, electrical circuits, and relay logic, work with aluminum frames and glazing, and communicate professionally with customers, end-users, and contractors on-site.

The role requires lifting up to 110 pounds with lifting aids, a valid driver's license, and AAADM certification within 12 months

Qualifications

  • Mechanical aptitude with experience repairing electro-mechanical devices.
  • Knowledge of basic electrical circuits and low-voltage 120v wiring.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Experience with glazing, storefronts, aluminum frames, and hardware preferred.
  • Must obtain AAADM certification within 12 months of employment and maintain certification.
  • Minimum age of 21.
  • Access control systems knowledge is a plus.
  • Ability to lift and install components weighing up to 110 pounds with lifting aids on an occasional basis.
  • Ability to climb ladders, kneel, drive, and work in various positions.
  • Ability to participate in on-call rotations after certification and training.
