Job summary

Penske is seeking a Customer Service Coordinator to work at the Burlington, NJ location. The role focuses on scheduling preventative maintenance, coordinating outside repairs, and managing the shop work plan to maximize productivity.

Responsibilities include communicating maintenance updates to customers, ensuring parts availability, and maintaining Penske Rental units. The candidate should have 2 years of customer service experience and at least 1 year of hands-on mechanical experience.

Qualifications

• 2 years of customer service experience required.
• At least 1 year of hands on mechanical experience required.
• 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• At least 2 years of service department administration preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates Degree, Technical School Degree, or Bachelors Degree preferred.
• ASE certification preferred.
• Prior experience with service scheduling programs and diagnostic programs preferred.
• The associate must understand and comply with Penske management instructions.
• Must adhere to DOT, OSHA and Penske safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Develop daily and weekly workforce plans to maximize customer service and productivity.
• Communicate with customers for maintenance updates and billing concerns.
• Ensure Penske Rental units are maintained and prepared for customers.
• Ensure parts are available for scheduled work.
• Coordinate with vendors for outside work and maintain schedule adherence.
• Provide customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
• Maintain shop productivity by optimizing the work plan.
• Coordinate with district billing clerks as necessary.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
