Mohr Talent is seeking a Service Sales Manager for the commercial roofing sector in the DC/MD/VA market. The role focuses on growing the preventive maintenance and repair service line, leveraging an existing book of business, and building strong relationships with property managers and facility owners.

The candidate will conduct roof inspections, prepare repair proposals, and drive new opportunities while collaborating with service crews and project managers to meet sales targets.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of sales experience in commercial roofing, building envelope, or related construction services.
• Existing book of business in HVAC or similar trades encouraged to apply, roofing knowledge can be taught.
• Roofing system knowledge (TPO, EPDM, Modified Bitumen, Metal) is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Job Description

A well established and growing commercial roofing and building services contractor with a strong reputation across the DC, Maryland, and Virginia market is hiring a Service Sales Manager to grow their preventive maintenance and repair service line. This is a team that cares about their people and invests in long term success, offering a built-in book of business and full support to hit the ground running.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage and grow an existing book of business with active service clients
• Conduct on site roof inspections and generate repair and maintenance proposals
• Build and maintain relationships with property managers, facility owners, and key decision makers
• Identify new service opportunities and prospect for new clients through cold calling and referrals
• Track sales activity and customer interactions in a CRM system

• Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets

What You Bring:

• 4+ years of sales experience in commercial roofing, building envelope, or related construction services
• Candidates with a strong existing book of business in HVAC or similar trades are highly encouraged to apply, roofing expertise can be taught
• Roofing system knowledge (TPO, EPDM, Modified Bitumen, Metal) is a plus but not required
• Self motivated with a hunter mindset and ability to work independently
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
• Ability to climb ladders and walk and inspect roofs
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and able to pass a background check and drug screening
