Job summary

Mohr Talent is seeking a Service Sales Manager for the commercial roofing sector in the DC/MD/VA market. The role focuses on growing the preventive maintenance and repair service line, leveraging an existing book of business, and building strong relationships with property managers and facility owners.

The candidate will conduct roof inspections, prepare repair proposals, and drive new opportunities while collaborating with service crews and project managers to meet sales targets.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of sales experience in commercial roofing, building envelope, or related construction services.
• Existing book of business in HVAC or similar trades encouraged to apply, roofing knowledge can be taught.
• Roofing system knowledge (TPO, EPDM, Modified Bitumen, Metal) is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow an existing book of business with active service clients.
• Conduct on-site roof inspections and generate repair and maintenance proposals.
• Build and maintain relationships with property managers, facility owners, and key decision makers.
• Identify new service opportunities and prospect for new clients through cold calling and referrals.
• Track sales activity and customer interactions in a CRM system.
• Collaborate with internal service crews, estimators, and project managers to deliver excellent service.
• Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
