Mission

Maximize the sustainable growth of our VTS business across the Mid-Atlantic Territory by promoting solution sales of service products to new and existing customers, in line with business plans. The work location is remote, preferably based in Philadelphia, Baltimore, or Northern Virginia.

Broad Activities

The Service Sales Engineer (SSE) will receive tools and support to succeed and grow within the organization, gaining a deep understanding of our After Market and Service Sales strategies while developing key sales skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Upsell and promote proactive service products such as service plans, pump exchanges, certified units, field services, parts, and oil.
  • Grow the business by analyzing and developing our pump install base.
  • Expand market share by identifying new customers and using competitive products for proactive services.
  • Plan and prioritize sales activities to meet financial targets and KPIs, managing time and productivity.
  • Create service plans and quotations using internal tools.
  • Maintain sales data in CRM, including appointments, reports, leads, opportunities, and quotations.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships across the territory.
  • Manage relationships with distributors and manufacturing reps.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues and support services, demonstrating leadership.
  • Attend sales meetings and execute follow-up actions.
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects related to VTS, including new products and marketing campaigns.
  • Provide regular customer feedback.
  • Travel extensively, including overnight stays.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills/Education
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • At least three years of direct sales experience, selling service or capital equipment.
  • Strong prospecting skills and strategic thinking.
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Passion for service and customer satisfaction.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.
  • Ability to build customer success and adapt to change.
  • Team-oriented with a focus on delivering results.

Must be authorized to work in the US.
