Job summary

United Mechanical, a leading commercial HVAC and plumbing contractor in Northern California, seeks a Service Account Representative in San Jose. You will support Account Managers, prepare quotes, and manage customer requests from proposal through project completion.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in inside sales or project coordination, excel in relationship-building, and excel with CRM and proposal tools in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Includes health, retirement, and PTO benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in inside sales, sales support, or project coordination in commercial/industrial service.

Responsibilities

• Support Account Managers with sales activities and customer accounts.
• Prepare estimates, proposals, and approved sales orders for maintenance, repairs, and replacements.
• Build strong customer/vendor/internal relationships and track activity in CRM.
• Coordinate with Service Operations for purchasing, scheduling, and timely delivery.
• Prepare submittals for customer review and approval.
• Monitor order progress and assist with invoicing and accounts receivable follow-up.
