Job summary

California Heating is seeking an HVAC Sales Engineer / Project Manager to lead sales opportunities and coordinate projects in our service territory. The role combines outside sales, proposal development, and account leadership to deliver cost-effective outcomes for clients.

You will prepare equipment and service estimates, present proposals, and manage project turnover while maintaining strong relationships with customers and partners.

Qualifications

• Minimum of eight (8) years of progressive experience in HVAC, Temperature Controls, Refrigeration, and/or facilities management.
• Minimum of two (2) years of documentable “high energy” sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop proposals, often involving cost effectiveness or ROI calculations, for presentation to customers based on site review and analysis of documents.
• Determine customer need and work closely with customers to determine cost-effective solutions, increasing loyalty.
• Conduct post-sale follow-ups to ensure sales agreements are fulfilled and customers are satisfied.
• Manage and sustain high levels of customer satisfaction and provide performance-enhancement solutions.
• Ensure profitability, productivity, payment schedules, subcontract terms, and accurate invoicing.
• Maintain timely sales activity records in Outlook, CRM, and project turnover systems.
