Job summary

SVM in San Jose, CA seeks a Service Account Manager to manage key accounts in the mechanical contracting industry. You’ll provide exceptional customer service, build relationships with new and existing clients, and guide them through the sales process for HVAC, plumbing, and piping solutions.

Requirements include 2+ years in HVAC account management or sales, 2+ years with mechanical contractors, a high school diploma, HVAC knowledge, and strong proposal-writing and communication skills.

Qualifications

• HVAC knowledge and terminology used in the mechanical industry.
• 2+ years’ experience as HVAC account manager or sales rep.
• Experience with mechanical contractors or related field.
• Proven ability to establish and manage a book of business.
• Proven proposal-writing ability and technical aptitude.
• Strong communication and objection-handling skills.
• Proficient with MS Office and CRM or accounting software.
• Valid California driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a portfolio of key accounts in the mechanical industry.
• Drive client engagement and satisfaction with HVAC, plumbing and piping solutions.
• Prospect for new business via calls, emails, and onsite meetings.
• Analyze performance to identify growth opportunities and renewals.
• Maintain a robust sales pipeline and provide monthly updates.
• Create detailed proposals tailored to client needs.
• Follow up on proposals weekly and address inquiries.
• Pursue cross-selling opportunities for plumbing services.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
