Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a friendly Service Route Driver for a full-time role, Monday through Friday. The position offers $19/hr pay and eligibility for standard benefits.

You will load/unload products, transport to client locations, manage inventory, and ensure proper refrigeration and cleanliness of equipment. The role requires a valid driver’s license, ability to pass a DOT physical, and good driving record.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle.
• Valid driver’s license (CDL not required) and a good driving record.
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Outgoing personality with the skills to promote products.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively to customers and AVI team members.
• Ability to work independently and utilize time efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Load the company vehicle with products needed to service locations.
• Drive to client locations and transport products and food.
• Deliver, load, and unload items as requested.
• Stock shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers.
• Ensure refrigeration of all cold food products in truck and at accounts.
• Oversee order placement and inventory control.
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise.
• Collect money from machines.
• Communicate professionally with customers.
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines.
• Maintain the company vehicle.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for a friendly and hard-working team member to fill the role of Service Route Driver. This isa full-time position, Monday-Friday.

The pay rate is $19/hr.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure the company vehicle is properly loaded with all products needed to service locations
• Drive a vehicle to transport products and food to client locations
• Deliver, load, and unload products and food as requested
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in the truck and at accounts
• Oversee the ordering of merchandise and control inventory
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise
• Collect money, including coins and bills, from machines
• Communicate positively with customers by making eye contact and smiling
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts
• Manage the care of the company vehicle
