Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a friendly, hard-working Service Route Driver for a full-time role with a Monday–Friday dayshift. The position offers a pay of $21/hr and includes comprehensive benefits. You will service client locations, load and unload products, manage inventories, and ensure refrigeration and cleanliness of equipment.

We value an outgoing, customer-focused attitude, strong time management, and the ability to work independently. DOT physical and a clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle.
• Valid driver’s license (CDL not required) and a good driving record.
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Outgoing personality with the skills to promote products.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively to customers and AVI team members.
• Ability to work independently and utilize time efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Load the vehicle with products for service locations.
• Drive to client locations and transport products.
• Deliver, load, and unload products as requested.
• Stock shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers.
• Maintain refrigeration of cold foods in truck and at accounts.
• Oversee product ordering and inventory control.
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise.
• Collect money from machines where applicable.
• Interact positively with customers.
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts.
• Care for the company vehicle.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for a friendly and hard-working team member to fill the role of Service Route Driver, Full-time. This position is scheduled Monday through Friday dayshift.

The pay for this position is: $21/hr.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure the company vehicle is properly loaded with all products needed to service locations
• Drive a vehicle to transport products and food to client locations
• Deliver, load, and unload products and food as requested
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in the truck and at accounts
• Oversee the ordering of merchandise and control inventory
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise
• Collect money, including coins and bills, from machines
• Communicate positively with customers by making eye contact and smiling
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts
• Manage the care of the company vehicle
