Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a friendly Service Route Driver to load, transport, and deliver products to client locations. Ensure refrigeration, manage inventory, collect payments, and maintain the vehicle and equipment.

You will interact with customers professionally, promote products, and uphold safety and maintenance standards while working in a full-time role with benefits.

Responsibilities

• Load and load balance product in company vehicle to service locations.
• Drive a vehicle to transport products to client locations.
• Deliver, load, and unload products as requested.
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers.
• Ensure refrigeration of all cold food products in the truck and at accounts.
• Oversee ordering of merchandise and control inventory.
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise.
• Collect money from machines.
• Communicate with customers by eye contact and smiles.
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts.
• Manage the care of the company vehicle.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for a friendly and hard-working team member to fill the role of Service Route Driver.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure the company vehicle is properly loaded with all products needed to service locations
• Drive a vehicle to transport products and food to client locations
• Deliver, load, and unload products and food as requested
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in the truck and at accounts
• Oversee the ordering of merchandise and control inventory
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise
• Collect money, including coins and bills, from machines
• Communicate positively with customers by making eye contact and smiling
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts
• Manage the care of the company vehicle

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle
• Valid driver’s license (a CDL is NOT required) and a good driving record
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
