Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a friendly Service Route Driver to join our team. You will load, deliver, and stock products at client locations, maintain refrigeration, collect payments, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older to operate a company vehicle.
• CDL not required; valid driver’s license and good driving record required.
• Ability to pass DOT Physical.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Outgoing personality with product promotion skills.
• Strong organization and time management abilities.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the company vehicle is properly loaded with all products needed to service locations.
• Drive a vehicle to transport products and food to client locations.
• Deliver, load, and unload products and food as requested.
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers.
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in the truck and at accounts.
• Oversee the ordering of merchandise and control inventory.
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise.
• Collect money from machines.
• Communicate positively with customers by making eye contact and smiling.
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts.
• Manage the care of the company vehicle.
