Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a friendly Service Route Driver to join our team in Ohio. You will confidently drive a route, load and deliver products, stock shelves or vending machines, and ensure cold food safety in transit and at accounts.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate company vehicle.
• Valid driver’s license (CDL not required) with a good driving record.
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload products, drive to client locations, and service routes.
• Deliver, stock, and place products on shelves or vending machines.
• Maintain refrigeration of cold food in truck and at accounts.
• Oversee ordering, inventory control, and merchandise collection.
• Collect money from machines and handle cash accurately.
• Communicate professionally with customers and AVI team members.
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines and vehicle.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for a friendly and hard-working team member to fill the role of Service Route Driver.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure the company vehicle is properly loaded with all products needed to service locations
• Drive a vehicle to transport products and food to client locations
• Deliver, load, and unload products and food as requested
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in the truck and at accounts
• Oversee the ordering of merchandise and control inventory
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise
• Collect money, including coins and bills, from machines
• Communicate positively with customers by making eye contact and smiling
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts
• Manage the care of the company vehicle

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle
• Valid driver’s license (a CDL is NOT required) and a good driving record
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
