Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a Service Route Driver to service client locations with reliability and a customer-first approach. The role runs Monday to Friday from 5:30am to 1:30pm with rotating weekends, and includes loading, delivering, stocking, and cash handling at machines.

The successful candidate will maintain vehicle safety, assist with inventory, and provide excellent customer service while promoting AVI products.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle.
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical.
• Valid driver’s license (CDL not required).
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Outgoing personality with the skills to promote products.

Responsibilities

• Load company vehicle with products for service locations.
• Drive to client locations and deliver/load/unload products as requested.
• Stock shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers; ensure refrigeration of cold foods.
• Oversee merchandise orders and control inventory; collect unsold and stale merchandise.
• Collect money from machines and communicate with customers positively.
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines and manage the vehicle.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for a friendly and hard-working team member to fill the role of Service Route Driver. This is Monday - Friday 5:30am - 1:30pm with rotating weekends.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure the company vehicle is properly loaded with all products needed to service locations
• Drive a vehicle to transport products and food to client locations
• Deliver, load, and unload products and food as requested
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in the truck and at accounts
• Oversee the ordering of merchandise and control inventory
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise
• Collect money, including coins and bills, from machines
• Communicate positively with customers by making eye contact and smiling
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts
• Manage the care of the company vehicle

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle
• Valid driver’s license (a CDL is NOT required) and a good driving record
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Outgoing personality with the skills to promote products
• Excellent organization and time management skills
