The role involves driving, loading, delivering, stocking, and maintaining refrigeration and vehicle care. Candidates should be at least 21, possess a valid driver's license (CDL not required), pass a DOT

Responsibilities

• Load company vehicle with products for service locations.
• Drive vehicle to client locations to transport products and food.
• Deliver, load, and unload products as requested.
• Stock shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers.
• Ensure refrigeration of cold food in truck and at accounts.
• Oversee ordering of merchandise and control inventory.
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise.
• Collect money from machines.
• Communicate positively with customers with eye contact and smiles.
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts.
• Manage care of the company vehicle.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for a friendly and hard-working team member to fill the role of Service Route Driver, Full-time. This position is scheduled Monday through Friday.

The pay for this position is: $21/hr.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure the company vehicle is properly loaded with all products needed to service locations
• Drive a vehicle to transport products and food to client locations
• Deliver, load, and unload products and food as requested
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in the truck and at accounts
• Oversee the ordering of merchandise and control inventory
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise
• Collect money, including coins and bills, from machines
• Communicate positively with customers by making eye contact and smiling
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts
• Manage the care of the company vehicle

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle
• Valid driver's license (a CDL is NOT required) and a good driving record
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Outgoing personality with the skills to promote products
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Ability to communicate effectively to customers and AVI team members
