Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a Service Route Driver to join our team in a full-time capacity, Monday through Friday. You will load and deliver products to client locations, manage stock, and ensure proper refrigeration in transit and at accounts.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle.
• Valid driver’s license (CDL not required) and a good driving record.
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Outgoing personality with the skills to promote products.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Load the company vehicle with all products needed to service locations.
• Drive to client locations to transport products and food.
• Deliver, load, and unload products as requested.
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers.
• Ensure refrigeration of all cold food products in the truck and at accounts.
• Oversee ordering of merchandise and control inventory.
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise and coins from machines.
• Maintain the company vehicle and perform routine maintenance.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for a friendly and hard-working team member to fill the role of Service Route Driver. This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure the company vehicle is properly loaded with all products needed to service locations
• Drive a vehicle to transport products and food to client locations
• Deliver, load, and unload products and food as requested
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in the truck and at accounts
• Oversee the ordering of merchandise and control inventory
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise
• Collect money, including coins and bills, from machines
• Communicate positively with customers by making eye contact and smiling
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts
• Manage the care of the company vehicle

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle
• Valid driver’s license (a CDL is NOT required) and a good driving record
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical
