Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a Service Project Administrator to support routine service job documentation, materials, costing, invoicing, and closeout. Based in Baton Rouge or New Orleans, LA, the role interfaces with Service Managers, Technicians, Account Managers and customers to ensure accurate financial and project data.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED with up to two years of related experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED and up to two years of related experience.
• Must have strong communication skills, proactive approach and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Ability to multitask and work well on a team.
• Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate cross-functional teams to record project costs, timesheets, labor hours, and daily reports.
• Initiate invoicing for completed work and prepare payroll documentation.
• Generate and interpret reports and monitor accounts receivable status.
• Resolve billing disputes in coordination with internal teams and customers.
• Communicate effectively with team members and provide coverage when needed.
• Schedule internal project team meetings to ensure accurate information transfer.
• Validate cost-to-date and reconcile project data in the business system.
• Manage invoicing process and coordinate formatting, attachments, and mailing with Shared Financial Services.
• Collaborate with Service Managers, Technicians, customers and claims to address obstacles.
