Southern Home Services is seeking a Service Plumber to join our growing team. You will perform service work that includes troubleshooting, installing, and repairing plumbing systems for residential customers, ensuring high-quality standards and compliance with local codes.

This role requires reading blueprints, using pipe cutters, threaders, and soldering tools, and coordinating with homeowners and team members.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on plumbing installation, maintenance and repair experience.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, drawings and job specs.
• Experience with water, gas and sewage systems and local codes.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and strong communication with customers.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose problems and determine repairs or replacements for customers.
• Install and assemble plumbing systems and equipment, including pipes and valves.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on water, gas, and sewage systems.
• Test for leaks and ensure safety and function.
• Manage inventory of supplies and maintain tools and equipment.
• Lead apprentices and coordinate with team on larger projects.
