Southern Home Services is seeking a Service Plumber to handle a range of residential plumbing tasks, including troubleshooting, install, and repair of plumbing systems. The role requires diagnosing issues, executing repairs, and ensuring work meets high quality standards and local codes.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of hands-on experience, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to work with homeowners.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on plumbing installation, maintenance and repair.
• Able to read blueprints, technical drawings, and job specs.
• Experience with water, gas, and sewage systems and local codes.
• Familiar with common plumbing tools and equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Physical ability to perform demanding tasks and lift heavy materials.
• Safety-conscious with a focus on customer service.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose plumbing issues and determine repairs or replacements.
• Install, assemble, and repair plumbing systems and fittings.
• Test for leaks and ensure compliance with codes.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and tool readiness.
• Communicate clearly with homeowners and team members.
• Lead apprentices and coordinate with other trades on larger projects.
• Adhere to safety protocols in all tasks.
• Additional duties as assigned.
