Job summary

U.S. Xpress seeks a Coordinator, Service and Parts in Ellenwood, GA. This role monitors repair orders, coordinates service appointments, and ensures accurate documentation while maintaining professional driver communications.

You will assist with parts procurement and stock management in a dynamic shop environment. The position requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year in a similar service coordinator role, with preference for parts management or shop support experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year in a similar service coordinator position required.
• Experience in parts management or shop support preferred.
• Transportation, Logistics, and/or Tech industry experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Generate, monitor, and close repair orders with accuracy, ensuring documentation and records are complete.
• Coordinate service appointments, repair estimates, authorizations, and customer communications.
• Provide timely updates to drivers on repair status and assist with service needs.
• Monitor repair progress and resolve delays related to parts or orders.
• Issue tractor and trailer parts to technicians and record transactions.
• Order required parts from approved vendors to ensure timely procurement.
• Receive, stock, and organize incoming parts shipments and maintain a neat workspace.
• Maintain up-to-date service files and department records for reference.
• Provide phone and office coverage and assist with department files.
• Collaborate with supervisors to troubleshoot service or parts concerns.
