Job summary

Bobcat Of Mandan Inc. is seeking a dynamic Service Manager to lead our Service and Parts department, driving excellence in repairs and customer satisfaction.

You will oversee technicians, service advisors, and support staff, manage scheduling and timely completion of repairs, and uphold manufacturer guidelines. Collaboration with sales and rentals to optimize dealership performance, while maintaining safety, quality workmanship, and strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and management experience.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Technical knowledge of heavy machinery (skidsteers, loaders, tractors, excavators).
• Able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the service department, including technicians, service advisors, and support staff.
• Oversee scheduling of service appointments and timely completion of repairs.
• Maintain high standards of quality and workmanship per manufacturer guidelines.
• Monitor KPIs such as productivity, service turnaround time, and customer satisfaction.
• Order parts as needed and ensure on-hand accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and safe working environment.
• Foster a positive, professional, accountable team culture.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers and address their needs.
• Collaborate with sales and rentals to optimize dealership performance.
• Manage inventory levels and procurement of parts and supplies.
• Stay updated on industry trends and manufacturer updates to improve service operations.
• Provide regular reports to senior management on departmental performance.
