W&B Service Company LLC in Temple, TX is seeking a Service Manager to oversee the service department, drive efficiency, revenue and customer satisfaction. The role supervises technicians, manages repair orders, warranty work and daily yard checks, with emphasis on safety and timely job completion.

Qualifications include 3–5 years in service, transport refrigeration/heavy-duty truck/trailer background, strong technical and organizational skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in service.
• Background with Transport Refrigeration/Heavy Duty Truck/Trailer preferred
• Mechanical aptitude is required.
• Strong technical knowledge
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Skill with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Managing the day to day work of department technicians.
• Daily performance of DVIs.
• Proper scanning on jobs by technicians.
• Accurate completion of Repair Orders with complete story/parts.
• Submittal of PM Forms to customers within 24 hours of service.
• Track and submit all after hours calls and hours for technicians.
• Rail Yard requirements and safety protocols on service trucks.
• Service Truck Maintenance and scheduling work and customer follow-up.
• Managing warranty repairs and daily yard checks.
• Open Repair Order listing and prioritization.
• Coordinate with Parts department to ensure parts on order for jobs.
