Job summary

Corvant is seeking a Service Manager in Tampa, FL to oversee daily scheduling and the efficiency of our Service Technicians. You will drive customer relations, review billing and warranty items, and ensure technicians are trained to perform tasks to standard.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of related experience.
• High School Diploma required.
• Bachelor’s Degree required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the profitability of the Service Department.
• Ensure Service Technicians are properly trained to complete each task.
• Review service invoices daily for pricing accuracy and neatness of paperwork.
• Ensure technicians detail invoices thoroughly so customers understand the service rendered and problem resolved.
• Order parts and materials as needed to complete open service tickets.
• Coordinate with dispatch team to schedule work as required.
• Review all warranty invoices and ensure issues are addressed with vendors, parts, and labor.
• Provide oversight to Service Technicians in the field when appropriate.
• Ensure Service Technicians comply with company processes and procedures.
• Plan for seasonal fluctuations by offering maintenance agreements to customers.
• Advance customer service and resolve unfavorable service situations timely and to customer satisfaction.
• Quote larger repair jobs and obtain customer approvals; smaller repairs via dispatch.
• Set technician-based training schedules (internal & external).
