Job summary

Corvant in Orlando, FL is seeking a Service Manager to oversee the daily schedule and efficiencies of the Service Technicians and Department. You will manage customer relations, review all billing and warranty claims, and ensure technicians are properly trained to complete their duties.

The role emphasizes profitability and growth of the service operation, coordinating with dispatch, ordering parts, and maintaining high service standards to satisfy customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; a bachelor's degree is required.
• Minimum five years of related experience required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong computer skills and ability to multi-task.
• Excellent organization and advanced customer service skills.
• Physically able to stand, walk, sit, and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Oversee profitability of the Service Department.
• Ensure Service Technicians are properly trained to complete tasks and duties as assigned.
• Review service invoices daily for pricing accuracy and neatness of paperwork.
• Ensure technicians detail invoices so customers understand the service rendered and that the problem was resolved.
• Order parts and materials as needed to complete open service tickets.
• Coordinate with dispatch team to schedule work as required.
• Review all warranty invoices, ensuring valid warranty issues are addressed with vendors, parts, and labor.
• Provide oversight to Service Technicians in the field when appropriate.
• Ensure Service Technicians comply with company processes and procedures.
• Plan for seasonal fluctuations by offering maintenance agreements to customers.
• Advance customer service; resolve unfavorable situations with customers timely and to their satisfaction.
• Quote larger repair jobs and obtain customer approvals; smaller repairs via dispatch.
• Set technician-based training schedules (internal & external).

Job Description

The Service Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily schedule and efficiencies of the Service Technicians and Department. Other duties include customer relations, reviewing all billing and warranty claims, interaction with the other managers in respect to their warranty and service needs. Responsible for making sure that all Service Technicians are trained to complete the duties they are each assigned. The Service Manager is expected to handle all aspects of the service department to ensure its continued profitability and growth.
