Job summary

Power Motive Corporation is seeking a Service Manager in Tucson, AZ to lead the Service Department, ensuring efficient and profitable operations across branches. You will supervise technicians and administrative staff, manage work-orders, warranties, and safety compliance, while aligning with executive goals and company values.

You will collaborate with technical services, schedule training, and drive customer-focused service delivery with an emphasis on quality, safety, and cost control.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years experience in Heavy Equipment Service.
• 3-5 years administrative/clerical
• 5+ years customer service experience
• 3-5 years sales experience
• 3-5 years supervisory/management experience

Responsibilities

• Oversee service department processes: work-order opening, closing and invoicing.
• Oversee the warranty work-order process to ensure proper information and timelines.
• Provide the DOT compliance manager with service truck and technician paperwork.
• Oversees Service Team and Technicians.
• Assists in hiring, training, and direction of field service personnel.
• Conducts performance reviews for all Service Members and Service Technicians.
• Encourages adherence to company Principles in Practice and Core Values.
• Consult with executive management regarding departmental objectives.
• Collaborate with Technical Services dept. to schedule training for technicians.
• Provide resources for a clean and safe working environment.
• Resolve customer concerns regarding service work.
• Maintain positive relationships with technicians and support staff.
• Work with Field and Shop service managers to provide legible, accurate quotes.
• Recommend cost-effective repair procedures to customers and PSSRs.
• Maintain clear communication with Technical Services on open issues.
• Plan truck equipment, tooling purchases and other capital recommendations.
