Job summary

Power Motive Corporation is seeking a Service Manager to lead our Shop and Field Service teams, ensuring efficient operations and profitability. You will standardize work-order processes, oversee warranty and DOT paperwork, and collaborate with Technical Services to train staff while driving accurate quotes for customers.

The role requires at least five years in heavy equipment service management, with strong organizational and communication skills and a commitment to safe, reliable service

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience with heavy equipment.
• Experience in service department management or shop/field service.
• Proficient in preparing quotes and recommending repair procedures.
• Proficient with MS Word and Excel (intermediate).

Responsibilities

• Ensure defined work-order processes for opening, closing, and invoicing are followed.
• Oversee warranty work-order process and gather field information.
• Coordinate DOT compliance paperwork for service trucks and technicians.
• Collaborate with executive management on department objectives.
• Arrange training schedules with Technical Services for technicians.
• Provide resources for a clean and safe work environment.
• Work with customers to resolve service concerns and maintain relationships.
• Assist in providing legible and accurate quotes to customers and PSRs.
• Recommend cost-effective repair procedures and guidelines to customers and PSRs.
