Job summary

CarMax is offering a Front-Line Manager in Training program at Virginia Beach to develop leaders for Service Operations. The six-week program covers inventory management, cosmetic/mechanical repair, and end-to-end production processes.

Upon completion, you transition into a leadership role such as Flow Mechanical Manager, Flow Cosmetic Manager, Flow Supply Manager, Inventory Manager, or Service Manager, with opportunities to lead teams and drive performance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong data interpretation and record accuracy for process compliance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate comprehension of training content throughout the program.
• Support execution of store procedures and operational processes to ensure efficiency and compliance.
• Complete CarMax’s Management Development Program and apply leadership principles in real-world scenarios.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain quality and meet production goals.
• Model CarMax values by fostering integrity, respect, and a customer-first mindset in all interactions.
• Prepare for transition into a leadership role, ensuring readiness to manage associates and drive performance.
• Responsible for the Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) program for your department and/or location.
