CarMax offers a Front-Line Manager in Training program designed to prepare you for leadership within Service Operations. You’ll learn end-to-end processes, inventory and cosmetic/mechanical repair, and, upon successful completion, move into a leadership role such as Flow Mechanical Manager or Service Manager.

The program emphasizes teamwork, compliance, and strong customer-focused leadership while developing operational excellence and a commitment to CarMax values.

Qualifications

• Lead and manage teams to achieve operational goals.
• Interpret data and ensure process compliance and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate comprehension of training content throughout the program.
• Support execution of store procedures and operational processes for efficiency and compliance.
• Complete CarMax’s Management Development Program and apply leadership principles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production goals and quality standards.
• Model CarMax values by fostering integrity, respect, and customer-first mindset.
• Prepare for transition into a leadership role and manage associates effectively.
• Oversee Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) program for the department/location.
