Job summary

Alsco Uniforms is seeking a Service Manager to lead branch service operations, drive customer satisfaction, and deliver strong financial results. You will coach district leaders and route reps, ensure safety and compliance, and collaborate with Sales, Production, and Office teams to achieve growth.

The role emphasizes customer retention, route performance, and effective communication, with a history of 3–5 years in related leadership roles.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of leadership in route-based service, uniforms/linen, logistics, transportation, distribution, or a similar service-driven environment.
• Strong knowledge of route operations, customer retention, performance management, and service execution.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations, fleet safety, driver qualification requirements, and workplace safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and coach District Managers and Route Sales Representatives to build a high-performing, accountable, and promotable service team.
• Drive employee performance through regular coaching, performance evaluations, and career development planning.
• Ensure exceptional customer service by overseeing route audits, customer visits, issue resolution, and proactive communication.
• Support customer retention and revenue growth through upselling, cross-selling, product sampling, and successful new account installations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Production, and Office teams to support branch goals, identify growth opportunities, and maintain a safe, compliant work environment.
• Promote a safe working environment and enforce all safety standards. Ensure delivery vehicles are being properly maintained and operated safely.
