Job summary

Alsco Uniforms seeks a District Manager to lead a district of routes, ensuring service goals are met or exceeded and reporting to the Service Manager. Senior DM status may apply when overseeing a service center with multiple routes.

The role emphasizes building strong relationships with customers, driving retention and growth, and maintaining safety and SOP adherence while coordinating with other branches. Travel within the branch area is expected.

Qualifications

• Have and maintain a valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
• Demonstrate excellent skills in customer service and route sales.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English; good time management and teamwork.
• Recognize colors, sizes and types of product and count, add and subtract accurately.

Responsibilities

• Develop and motivate a district to be a highly productive team through continual training, regular meetings, daily check-ins, fostering a positive work environment, route rides, and building strong relationships with each RSR.
• Ensure customer loyalty and outstanding service through visits, audits, problem solving, open communication and negotiating with customers.
• Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed in their district, including safety and Service SOP.
• Manage retention and growth by soliciting new customers, up-selling/cross-selling, promoting all lines of service, and monitoring competitive activity.
• Lead their district to success by communicating changes and policies, overseeing route organization, and coordinating with other departments.
• Complete general route responsibilities when necessary; safely operate a delivery vehicle and follow laws and company policy.
• Follow written and verbal instructions and perform other tasks as directed by supervision.
• A Senior DM oversees a service center, secures the facility, manages inventory, oversees deposits and paperwork, and communicates with the processing plant.
