Job summary

TK Elevator in York, PA is seeking an experienced Operations Coordinator- Service/Repair to manage administrative duties for the service operations department, ensuring efficient and cost-effective workflows. This role interfaces with dispatch, field technicians, and customers to track tickets, invoices, and reporting.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, experience in office administration, and familiarity with Oracle databases or similar systems; elevator industry

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• One-year certificate from college or technical school or equivalent.
• Three to six months related experience and/or training in basic business administration.

Responsibilities

• Performs Install Base maintenance as needed and creates safety inspection tickets.
• Updates on-call lists and notifies Dispatch daily; tracks technicians in/out.
• Provides status to National Accounts and customers on open work orders and callbacks.
• Liaises between branch operations and regional dispatch; maintains shared calendars for dispatch.
• Tracks Operations systems and conducts tool audits.
• Assists mechanics with IT downloads and data entry; orders phones and tools.
• Prepares payroll entry forms and processes daily DVR/cost corrections.
• Creates parts requisitions and manages receipts of parts.
• Compiles data for legal reports and high-profile accounts; supports documentation.
• Manages safety inspections to ensure correct ticketing.
• Assigns tickets to mechanics as needed.
• Prepares badging applications and tracks uniforms.
• Creates special reports for high-profile customers and provides updates.
• Reviews Work in Progress and liaises with regional billers.
• Reviews invoice holds and coordinates with procurement for corrections.
