Job summary

Briggs Industrial Solutions is seeking a Customer Service Advisor to bridge the service team and customers at our Clair-Mel City location. You will oversee day-to-day interactions, dispatch technicians, and ensure service standards align with company direction.

You will monitor technician productivity, manage orders and invoicing, and support the sales team with quotes. Our ESOP-owned company emphasizes safety, integrity, and customer-first solutions, offering training and strong benefits.

Responsibilities

• Actively create and maintain a positive and professional experience for internal/external customers; reflective of the Company’s standards and core values
• Dispatch, assign and monitor technicians to service calls in compliance with Company policy and based on certification levels and/or skillset and proactively communicate with customers to update scheduling, repairs, quotations, and delays
• Monitor the progress and productivity of technicians using business system tools
• Verify unit information and repair descriptions submitted by customers for parts ordering to complete repairs
• Communicate with customers when additional product support opportunities are identified and secure approval to proceed with quotations or completion
• Request purchase orders from customers for service repairs and coordinate with Service Auditors for invoicing and PO details
• Issue purchase orders to vendors for supplies and sublet labor and record in service repair orders for AP
• Ensure execution of Maintenance services and ensure billing and reporting for accounts
• Verify van maintenance schedules and VIN/tech IDs to keep service vans operational
• Review inactive service repair orders to avoid delays
• Ensure repairs, time posting and work orders meet KPI targets
• Coach underperforming technicians with leadership
• Support sales with quotes and tracking of service work
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align processes across the organization
• Respond to general phone and email inquiries
• Perform other duties as assigned
