Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Yakima, WA seeks a Service Department Manager to oversee the safe, efficient, and profitable operation of the Service Department. You will drive annual budgets, monitor labor sales, and provide leadership in recruiting, training, and development of service personnel.

Responsibilities include maintaining management reports, auditing work orders, scheduling, and ensuring warranty and safety programs are completed timely.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; continuing management coursework.
• Minimum four years as a mechanic and at least 2 years as a shop foreman or lead mechanic.
• Must be able to read and write English; read computer generated reports and invoices.
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and follow annual service budget based on labor hours attainable.
• Lead recruitment, hiring, training, and development of Service personnel.
• Audit and maintain monthly performance and time management reports.
• Schedule and assign jobs to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with Sales and Parts to enhance dealership performance and customer satisfaction.
