Job summary

Packard Culligan Water in Billings, MT seeks a hands-on Service Manager to lead our service team across residential, commercial and industrial segments, strengthen a motivated workforce, and boost customer satisfaction and retention.

The role emphasizes coaching technicians, optimizing staffing and workflows, overseeing equipment condition and safety, and guiding process improvements and budgeting to help achieve company goals, reporting to the General Manager in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading service teams in a dealership or similar environment.
• Ability to coach and develop technicians and customer service staff.
• Strong communication, process improvement, and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Service team to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain client satisfaction.
• Maintain inventory to meet customer needs and ensure timely service.
• Oversee equipment condition, maintenance planning, and safety/compliance.
• Ensure after-hour response to customer emergencies and manage staffing levels.
• Develop employee performance objectives aligned with dealership goals.
• Participate in budgeting and monitoring performance vs. plan.
