Job summary

Packard Culligan Water in Billings, MT is seeking an exceptional Service Manager with strong technical and people skills to lead our service team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. You will develop and mentor service technicians, ensure customer satisfaction, and drive service performance.

This hands-on role reports to the General Manager and emphasizes coaching, scheduling, safety, and process improvements in a dynamic setting. A background in trades management is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in service management or trades management is a plus
• Hands-on management experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Resolve service-related problems and approve billing adjustments
• Maintain adequate inventory to meet customer needs
• Assess equipment quality and modifications as needed
• Ensure after-hours response to customer emergencies
• Manage staffing levels, workload distribution, and employee skills
• Uphold a safe, clean work environment in compliance with regulations
• Provide training to ensure employees meet customer expectations
• Develop performance objectives aligned with dealership goals
• Maintain company assets and equipment
• Achieve planned gross margin and revenue targets
• Participate in annual budget/plans and analyze variances
• Keep knowledge and skills current among service personnel
