Job summary

Dynamic Equipment in Tampa is seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead the service team operations, coordinating shop and field work, directing mechanics, and managing equipment logistics. The role emphasizes admin accuracy, work orders, and excellent customer service to ensure high repair quality and client satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have strong leadership and technical aptitude, with experience in service management software, and a drive to develop the team while meeting deadlines

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree or college certificate with 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Four-year degree is a plus.
• Experience in heavy equipment service may substitute for formal education.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all Service Department personnel to ensure workmanship standards.
• Oversee lifecycle of work orders from opening to final billing.
• Monitor employee time and performance metrics to optimize shop efficiency.
• Coordinate scheduling of equipment pick-up and delivery for local and field work.
• Act as primary contact for customers, explain quotes, and ensure satisfaction.
• Identify opportunities for additional services or preventive maintenance.
