Job summary

TruGreen in West Carrollton, OH is seeking a Service Operations Manager to lead recruitment, training, and supervision of a team of lawn care specialists. The role emphasizes coaching staff to improve customer retention and service quality.

You will work with other managers to reduce customer cancellations, develop staff through training, and ensure safety and policy adherence while meeting production and sales goals. Significant local travel is required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in a business-related discipline with 2+ years of related experience required.
• 2+ years supervisory management experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree and sales experience preferred.
• Requires extensive local travel.
• Valid, permanent driver’s license from state of residence.
• Current liability auto insurance required.
• Must be 21 years of age by date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates service quality and develops procedures to minimize customer complaints.
• Coaches and develops lawn specialists and trainees.
• Recruits, interviews and selects staff to efficiently staff the service function.
• Plans and conducts new hire and ongoing training for service personnel.
• Supervises a team of technicians to ensure service and sales goals are met.
• Maintains morale and promotes teamwork.
• Examiners associate work for accuracy and conformance to policies.
• Prepares schedules and monitors duties for efficiency.
