Job summary

TruGreen in Ypsilanti, MI, seeks a service operations supervisor to recruit, train, and lead a team of lawn care specialists. You will coach staff, optimize service delivery, and supervise performance to meet production and sales goals.

The role requires an Associate’s degree with 2+ years of supervisory experience; a Bachelor’s degree and sales background are preferred. Travel is extensive and a driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in a business-related discipline with 2+ years of related lawn/horticulture management experience.
• 2+ years of supervisory management experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree and sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates quality of service and develops procedures to minimize customer complaints.
• Coaches and develops staff and supervisors.
• Recruits, interviews and staffs service personnel.
• Plans and conducts new hire and ongoing training for service personnel.
• Maintains positive morale and promotes teamwork.
• Ensures safe workplace and compliance with policies.
• Exhibits effective communication with leadership and frontline staff.
