Job summary

Orkin is seeking a Service Manager in Fredericksburg, VA to lead a high‑performing pest control team. You’ll train, coach, and develop Orkin Pros while delivering outstanding service and safety.

Strong leadership and communication help you earn customer trust and drive revenue growth. You’ll oversee scheduling, coaching, and field operations, with a focus on customer satisfaction, safety, and community involvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to obtain pesticide license/certification if required (paid by company).
• Ability to work in the field independently and interact with clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead an entire service operation after paid training.
• Motivate the service team to provide top‑notch service with safety in mind.
• Demonstrate professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers.
• Assist with recruiting top talent on the service team.
• Train and develop Orkin Pros through hands‑on management.
• Lead training meetings and oversee Ride‑Along program.
• Ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded through inspections and service.
• Champion innovation by adopting new products and technology.
• Monitor scheduling, routing and inventory to drive efficiencies.
