Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in heavy-duty truck service/repair.
• 5+ years in management.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to supervise staff and schedule work.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction to service personnel, delegate assignments per business needs and answer questions.
• Manage the operation of the Service Department including training, recruiting, interviewing, performance appraisals and possible discipline.
• Prepare annual budget and monitor budgeted expenditures.
• Maintain awareness of market conditions; develop and implement strategies to attain objectives.
