Job summary

RWC Group is seeking a Service Manager to lead the Service Department, hire and coach technicians, and drive profitability while maintaining safety and quality standards. You will manage budgets, oversee repairs, and build strong customer relationships to ensure exceptional service experiences.

The role focuses on developing a high-performing team, optimizing operations, and aligning service goals with dealership leadership directives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of leadership experience in heavy-duty truck or related service operations.
• Proven ability to coach and develop high-performing teams.
• Strong financial acumen with budgets and profitability.
• Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills.
• Experience using dealership management systems and service software.

Responsibilities

• Lead all day-to-day operations of the Service Department.
• Recruit, develop, coach, and retain technicians, supervisors, and service staff.
• Drive technician productivity, efficiency, proficiency, and profitability.
• Ensure repairs are completed safely, accurately, and on time.
• Build lasting customer relationships through exceptional communication.
• Manage departmental budgets, labor sales, gross profit, and KPIs.
• Promote safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with policies, OSHA requirements, and standards.
• Partner with leadership to achieve operational and financial goals.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and satisfaction.
