Sunbelt Rentals in Riverside, California seeks a Service Manager to oversee repair and maintenance of company and customer equipment. You will organize yard status, schedule service calls, and ensure timely availability of equipment for rentals.

You will train staff mechanics, work with vendors, and manage service records, warranties, and parts inventories while upholding safety standards and quality control across the department.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required and clean driving record.
• Extensive repair/maintenance experience on self-propelled platforms and lifts.
• Proficient with work planning, scheduling and supervisory activities.
• Strong understanding of equipment safety requirements and operation.
• Experience documenting service records and generating reports.
• Experience managing inventory and coordinating parts orders.

Responsibilities

• Manages repair/maintenance of company and customer equipment.
• Creates work schedules, handles service calls, ensures equipment availability.
• Orders parts to maintain adequate supplies and trains staff mechanics.
• Documents equipment status before/after rental, handles warranties.
• Creates, updates, and bills work orders; maintains service records.
• Drives safety initiatives andQuality control checks throughout the shop.
